~~OUR STORY~~
David and Betty met in the fall of 1986 during their first semester of college. After three semesters, we foolishly quit school. (Little did we realize the importance of a college education). We became engaged on January 22, 1988 and were married on August 6, 1988 at the Stanford Presbyterian Church.
We lived in Monticello (David's hometown) for the first couple of years before deciding to return to Eastern Kentucky University - the place that had brought us together. While there David became a member of the fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Can you find us in this picture?
(Hint: we are in the bottom left corner)
Betty received a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology in 1993; then went back for her teaching certificate with other minors in History and Driver's Education. However, she is currently making her career as a stay-at-home mom.
David received his B.S. in 1994 and M.S. in 1996 in Manufacturing Technology. David is employed as an engineer by Richmond Automotive Parts Technology (RAPT) which is a division of Honda. It is a very rewarding job that he thoroughly enjoys.
We are looking forward to a trip to Japan sometime next year! Some previous employers has included:
Qwik Tool/Magna Corporation - Process Engineer
Mathews Conveyor - Manufacturing Engineer
